The Highland Park volleyball team has completely dominated its District 10-4A opponents so far this season.

With five matches remaining in the regular season, including tonight’s 6:30 contest at Terrell, the Lady Scots have yet to lose a single game in district play. Nine matches, nine sweeps.

Ranked No. 3 in the Texas Girls Coaches Association’s Class 4A state poll, Highland Park (31-6) is shooting for its second consecutive perfect run through district play. The Lady Scots have won 26 straight district matches.

Highland Park has a two-match lead on Carrollton Creekview (20-16, 8-2) in the 10-4A standings. Following tonight’s match, Highland Park will play at West Mesquite (Friday), at home against Forney (Oct. 22) and Creekview (Oct. 25), and at North Forney (Oct. 29) to close the regular season.
