Did you catch Lynn Sherr speaking about Sally Ride last night? If not, be sure to catch the next installment of HPUMC’s ‘Authors Live’ series.

Karin Slaughter will be speaking about her book, Cop Town, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25.

If you want to get up close and personal, $30 will get you into the 6:30 p.m. reception, where you can pick up a copy of the book.

The book, set in Atlanta in the 1970s, chronicles Maggie Lawson’s life as a cop and her quest to track down a fellow cop’s killer.

As always, the reading is free and open to the public, and takes place on the church campus.
