The music you hear outside your window on Saturday morning might be coming from the Highland Park Highlander band, which will hold its inaugural March-a-Thon 5K fundraiser to raise money for the upcoming school year.

The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. in front of Highland Park High School, with the band marching down McFarlin Boulevard, around Snider Plaza, and back to the high school.

Donations can be submitted along the route or at the band’s website. And who knows? They might even take requests.
