Happy Hour and Screening for “Get Off The Bottle” Tour
Speaking of Earth Day and spas….The award-winning documentary, Tapped, is making its way across the US on a 30-day, 30-city tour to inspire people to get off the bottle. Plastic water bottle, that is. According to the director, Stephanie Soechtig, 30 million plastic water bottles end up in landfills every day, so she wants to educate the masses on an industry trying to profit from a natural resource that should not be sold.
Hiatus Spa + Retreat, an Aveda lifestyle spa in Inwood Village, is hosting the Dallas stop of the “Get Off the Bottle” tour on Wednesday, April 7. The first 100 ticket holders who bring an empty plastic water bottle to Inwood Theater will receive a reusable, stainless steel Klean Kanteen. The evening also includes pre-screening cocktails by Bacardi.
