    Mary Katherine Goodrich and Christopher Richard Roby weddingMary Katherine Goodrich and Christopher Richard Roby were united in Holy Matrimony on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Donald W. Spafford. Music for the ceremony was provided by James Diaz, organist, Steven Fritts, trumpeter, and Stradivarius Strings. A reception hosted by the bride’s parents immediately followed at The Belo Mansion and Pavilion. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the The City Club.

    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Sperry Goodrich of University Park. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Owens Goodrich and the late Mr. David Earl Goodrich of Fort Worth, Texas, the late Dr. and Mrs. Emerson Kenny Blewett of Austin, Texas and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gail Quillian King Jr, of Crockett, Texas.

    The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Richard Roby of University Park and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Arthur Hendrix of Dallas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard William Roby of Austin, Texas.

    Presented in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless A-line silhouette gown, made of ivory Chantilly and Alencon lace, designed by Vera Wang for the Luxe Collection. The delicate Alencon lace detail was re-embroidered to embellish the neckline, waist, hem, and train of the gown. The bride paired her gown with a cathedral-length veil of Brussels lace which is a family heirloom. Completing the ensemble, the bride carried a bouquet of white peonies.

    Attending the bride as maid of honor was Jacqueline Marie Little of Venice, California, and matron of honor Megan Parks Beckner of Dallas.

    Bridesmaids were Lisa Anne Moore of Fort Worth, Bess Stoneham Callarman, Ashley Beale Morriss, Kristine Daniella Prast, Caroline Bright Reeder and Meredith Woodward Sirchio, all of Dallas. Members of the house party were Catherine Dacy Howry of Austin, Tara Lynn Bukosky, Kendall Ansley Delk, and Elisa Del Tatto Roby, all of Dallas.

    Serving the groom as best men were his brothers, Ryan Robert Roby and Mark William Roby, both of Dallas. Groomsmen included Joseph Bryan Boudreaux of Birmingham, Alabama, Garner York Duncan of Houston, David Thomas Etlinger of Houston, Benjamin King Goodrich, brother of the bride, of New York, New York, Alan Sterling Howry of Austin and Daniel Hudson Sparks of Oxford, Mississippi. Ushers were Robert Keith Beaver of Beaumont, Texas, Michael David Guerrero of Dallas, Christopher Winston Hill of Austin, Christopher Owen Pearson of Houston and Trevor Joseph Russell of Irvine, California.

    The bride is a graduate of Highland Park High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in fashion merchandising from Texas Christian University, where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

    The bride is a former Dallas Symphony debutante and a current member of the Junior League of Dallas. She is the owner of MKR Consulting.

    The groom is a graduate of Highland Park High School. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi. He was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He is currently employed with Alpheus Communications.

    Following their honeymoon trip to Barbados, the couple resides in Dallas.

    Faith Anne Pustmueller and James Ryan Pitts engagement

    Lyn and Joel Pustmueller of Dallas are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Faith Anne Pustmueller to James Ryan Pitts, son of the Honorable Jim Pitts and the late Evelyn Eastham Pitts of Waxahachie, Texas. Faith Anne is also the daughter of the late Laura Gaddy Pustmueller of Dallas.

    The bride is a 2007 graduate of The Cambridge School of Dallas. She graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors in accounting from the Neeley Fellows Class of 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. While at TCU, Faith Anne was involved in Student Foundation and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Faith Anne is currently completing her Master in Professional Accounting from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. She will join the audit practice at Ernst & Young in Dallas in the fall.

    The groom is a 2005 graduate of the Shelton School in Dallas. He received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Southern Methodist University in 2009. While at SMU, Ryan was involved in Sigma Phi Epsilon, Student Senate and served as the president of College Republicans. He is currently completing his law degree at The University of Texas School of Law. After law school, Ryan plans to take the bar exam and practice law in Dallas.

    The couple will exchange vows Sept. 2 at Montage Deer Valley in Park City, Utah.

    Highland Park High School graduate David Alan Terry Sr. entered God’s Heavenly Kingdom for eternal life and peace on March 25, 2012, surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 4, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas to Florence Mildred “Biddie” Terry and Benjamin Franklin “Ben” Terry. He was raised in Highland Park. He attended Texas Tech University. His career started at an early age under the watchful eye of his father at Terminix. Shortly thereafter, he assumed the position of president of Sears Pest Control Company. The operation grew from a very small entity to a leader in the state. He was loved and admired by his employees and all he encountered.

    David was a devoted father with a great sense of humor. He kept us laughing with his outgoing and straightforward personality. He was gracious to all he met, vivacious and had a heart of gold. He loved spending time at the beach especially with his boys.

    David was a lifelong member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.

    David was predeceased by his father, Benjamin Franklin “Ben” Terry. He is survived by his two cherished sons, David Alan Terry Jr. and Blake Beall Terry and his fiancé, Maitlyn Youngblood; his devoted mother, Biddie Terry Bradford and step-father Robert Ingrum Bradford; his brother, Michael Franklin Terry and his wife Mary; his sister, Julie Terry Mills and her husband Jim; seven nieces and nephews, Melissa Terry Pridmore and her husband Dustin, Michael Franklin Terry Jr., Travis DeLoache Terry, Christine Elizabeth Mills, James Dunaway Mills, Benjamin Terry Mills, and Michael Thomas Mills; two great nieces and one great nephew, Kennedy Mae Pridmore, Bailey Jordan Pridmore, and Owen Terry Pridmore. He is also survived by a loving host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

    A memorial service was held March 29th in the sanctuary at Highland Park United Methodist Church. The Reverend Bill Smith officiated. A private family burial was held prior to the service. The family suggests that those who may wish to contribute memorials consider directing them to Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Texas 75205, or to the charity of your choice. David was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all he touched.
