HPISD Hosting Public Forum on GPA Policy

If HPISD’s changing GPA policy is an issue dear to your heart (like it was for a few readers in June, with more revisions since), you probably won’t want to miss the district’s public forum about it on Monday.

Slated for 6:30 p.m. in the high school’s large auditorium, the presentation from administrators will include policy recommendations, a timeline for further changes, and details about the GPA Committee — a new task force of sorts that will provide research and other intel in the coming months.

They’ll also introduce you to Linda Rawlings, an education director who’s coming all the way from Austin to lead that committee. And they’ll ask for feedback.
