Middle Schoolers Double Their Efforts

Several HPMS/MIS students helped deliver supplies to Milam Elementary on Oct. 6.

The students at Highland Park Middle School/McCulloch Intermediate School have conducted another school supply drive to benefit DISD’s Milam Elementary. And when the HPMS/MIS kids delivered the goods last week, they dropped off 27,000 items. That’s more than double what they collected last year. Nice job, Raiders.

what a great outreach by the kids of our town!
thanks to the teachers and parents who helped as well.
these type of articles are a breath of fresh air,
so thanks for running this article.
how about investigating the thousands of hours and
effort that our area Eagle Scout candidates put into
    their Eagle Projects every year.
maybe you can ask for input as to the project of the year.
you would be amazed at the creativity and hard work involved.
