Were Eggs Possibly Stolen From Whataburger?

Here’s another gem from this week’s Highland Park incident report. I don’t really understand this one, as Whataburger has always had a soothing effect on my disposition:

At 12:12 a.m. Saturday, an officer noticed that a black 2010 Jeep Cherokee and a house in the 3700 block of Normandy Avenue had both been egged. Later that day, the owner of the house and Jeep reported that his 18-year-old son had been involved in a “verbal altercation” at a Whataburger not long before the eggs were noticed. On the advice of the 18-year-old, an officer contacted a 17-year-old whose residency is split between his mother’s house in Highland Park and his father’s home in University Park. The 17-year-old admitted to being involved in the dispute at Whataburger, but he said he knew nothing about the egging.
