The marriage is announced by Mr. and Mrs. William Gourdin McMaster, the bride’s parents.</p>
<p>Mrs. Rain, the former Ida Dargan McMaster, is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Moses Tucker Laffitte Jr., the late Nell Lightsey Laffitte, Mr. John Gregg McMaster, and the late Ida Dargan McMaster, all of Columbia, S.C. The bride graduated from Hammond School and received a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communications from Washington and Lee University. Mrs. Rain is employed by HealthCentral in Washington, D.C.</p>
<p>1st Lt. Rain is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Wharton Rain of Dallas. He is the grandson of Mrs. Donald Eugene Bowles, the late Donald Eugene Bowles, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eley Rain, all of Dallas. A graduate of Highland Park High School, the bridegroom received bachelor’s degrees in English and history from Washington and Lee University. 1st Lt. Rain is currently serving in the United States Marine Corps and is stationed at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C.</p>
<p>The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.</p>
<p>Ann Sheldon Paschal of Columbia, S.C., served as the bride’s maid of honor. Other attendants were the bridegroom’s sisters, Martha Elisabeth Rain and Cynthia Talbot Rain of Dallas; the bride’s cousins, Elizabeth Lucius Laffitte and Mary Loyal Laffitte of Beaufort, S.C., and Helen Harvey Laffitte, Nell Lightsey Laffitte, and Mary Rogers McMaster of Columbia, S.C.; Elizabeth Phillips Appel of New York City; Anne Russell Calvert and Mary Radford Wyatt of Atlanta; Constance Smith Cathy and JennyGray Ruffin Childs of Columbia, S.C.; Margaret Collins Cogar of Richmond, Va.; Lily Amanda de Grazia of Florence, Italy; Catherine Christina Dixon of Raleigh, N.C.; and Katherine Bowen Halligan of Mobile, Ala.</p>
<p>David Wharton Rain served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen in the wedding party were the bride’s brothers, William Gourdin McMaster Jr. and George Hunter McMaster II of Columbia, S.C.; Robert John Bain, Colesen Craig Evans, William James Foran, Stephen Martin Lipscomb, David Rice Meyer, Robert Adam Mundinger, Robert Power Ritchie, William Martin Smalley, and Marshall Comstock White, all of Dallas; Joshua Randolph Bryan of Jacksonville, Fla.; George Wiman Carter of Charlottesville, Va.; Clayton Turner Edwards Jr. of Atlanta; Theodore Jennings Williams of Vero Beach, Fla.; and Walker Jones Williams of Richmond, Va.</p>
<p>The wedding service was officiated by the Rev. Sinclair Buchanan Ferguson, minister of First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, S.C. Music was provided by Robin Harris, soloist; William Nuttall, bagpiper; Wyman Shuler, Scottish drummer; and the Crescent Brass. The service concluded with the Arch of Swords ceremony. A reception was held on the lawn.</p>
<p>After a wedding trip, the couple will reside in Jacksonville, N.C., until 1st Lt. Rain’s redeployment to Afghanistan.</p>

<p>Mary Elizabeth Bond and John Harwell Jones III were married on Sept. 26, 2009, in a ceremony at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Dallas. Following the ceremony, guests were escorted to the terrace of the Mansion on Turtle Creek, where a string quartet played during cocktails prior to a seated dinner in the ballroom. Afterwards, the Sultans of Swing were on hand for dancing.</p>
<p>The bride is the daughter of Patricia Hoffman Bond and the late Roland Bond Jr. of Highland Park and a graduate of Texas Tech University. The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Harwell Jones Jr. of Dallas and a graduate of the University of North Texas.</p>
<p>The bride was escorted by her godfather, Henry S. Miller III, in a stunning Ulla-Maija gown. Attending her as maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Ginny Bond Fein with bridesmaids Elisa Summers, Jackie Mewbourne, Maya LaLonde, Kristen Beckman, Taylor Vincent, and Jonelle Jones in their beautiful navy- blue crepe-satin dresses by Vera Wang. Junior bridesmaids were Emily Sale and Mary Elizabeth Sale. Those in the house party were Lindsey Miller, Rachelle Bond, Karen Bond, Jennifer Keiser, and Kathy Miller Rabey. Brianna Jones was the flower girl.</p>
<p>The groomsmen were Justin Baker, Jess Sale, Lance Miller, Scott Witty, Stewart Jackson, and Edward Campbell, with Robert Karl Jones serving as best man. The ring bearer was Miles Logan Miller.</p>

<p>The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Wilson of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene T. Beckley of Dallas and the late Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Wilson of Meridian, Texas.</p>
<p>The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Fenton of Baltimore. He is the grandson of Mrs. Richard L. Fenton and the late Mr. Fenton; and Mrs. Charles C. Connolly Jr. and the late Mr. Connolly, also of Baltimore.</p>
<p>The bride chose a gown by designer Ulla-Maija.  The ivory duchess satin design had a sweetheart neckline with an asymmetrical bodice, draped skirt, and extended train. The bride wore her mother’s Belgian lace veil.</p>

The nuptial mass was celebrated by the Rev. Ralph Wright, O.S.B. The ceremony was at 7 in the evening and was followed by a reception of dinner and dancing at Arlington Hall at Lee Park.</p>
<p>The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Julian Gayden Carter of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Charles Alfred Morgan and the late Mr. Charles Alfred Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stephen Carter, all of Dallas.</p>
<p>The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. David Bradley Marrs of St. Louis, Mo.  He is the grandson of Mrs. James William Bagby, also of St. Louis, and the late Dr. James William Bagby and the late Mr. and Mrs. James William Marrs of Temple, Texas.</p>
<p>For her wedding, the bride chose a gown of candlelight silk organza and Schiffley lace designed by Angel Sanchez of New York City for Stanley Korshak. Its v-neckline and empire waist were dramatized by narrow straps, defined by hand-beading with delicate Austrian crystals. The fitted torso was enhanced by buttons up the side. The flutter skirt featured panels of French lace extending to slipper length, which flowed into a graceful chapel-length train. To complete the ensemble, the bride wore a cathedral-length veil with hand-appliquéd French lace, framing her face and shoulders and flowing well beyond the length of the gown. The bride carried lavender roses, blue hyacinths, green succulents, and purple calla lilies tied with a keepsake satin ribbon bearing her new monogram.</p>
<p>The bride was given in marriage by her father. Attending her as maid of honor was Alicia Louise Carter, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids included Laura Virginia Chrisco, Sarah Marie Cozad, Elizabeth Conner Golden, Jenna Christine Loeffelholz, Rebecca Elizabeth Madole, Dolly Marlene Lucio, Murray Virginia Matens, Marcella Iris Medina, Lauren Paige Siepiela, and Katherine Anne Wooley. Serving the groom as best man was William Robert Key. <p>The bride is a graduate of the Episcopal School of Dallas and received her BA in Plan II Honors from the University of Texas in Austin. <p>Angela Rae Case and Allen Churchill Shank exchanged wedding vows the morning of May 15. The ceremony took place on the Turtle Creek Veranda of Arlington Hall at Lee Park and was officiated by Dr. Victor Casad of Christ United Methodist Church in Farmers Branch.</p>
<p>The bride is the daughter of Janell Wall Case of Carrollton and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Case of Dallas. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall of Andover, S.D., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Case of Highmore, S.D.</p>
<p>The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Shank of Dallas. He is the grandson of Lida Beasley Vann and the late Dr. Roy Vann of Fort Smith, Ark., and Annamae Churchill Shank and the late Harold Shank of Dallas.</p>
<p>The bride was escorted by her father, and given in marriage by her family. The bride’s cousin, Jodi Wall Buckles of Santa Rosa, Calif., served as matron of honor. Her bridesmaids were Jennifer Arnold, Amy Case, Stephanie Orosz, Kate Rutledge, and Hilary Shank. Honor attendants included Tess Conkling Chaney, Catherine Conner, Stephanie Dean, Kendall Hayden, Amber Kirk, and Jennifer Tauzel.  The greeters included Angela Chappell, Margaret Hlavinka, Cody Hudson, and Kristen Williams. Scriptures were read by Bonny Katherine Ralston and Michael Metcalf.</p>
<p>The best man was the groom’s brother, Vann Thomas Shank. The groomsmen were Andrew Carty, Jason Case, John Chaney II, Houston Hayden, and Benjamin Ralston. Ushers at the ceremony were John Wood Abbott, Thomas Bruce, William Berry Dean III, Kyle Stevener, Adam Tauzel, and John Caperton White Jr.</p>
<p>The bride wore a strapless silk shantung and lace gown by Alvina Valenta, complemented by a fingertip-length veil.  She carried an exquisite bouquet of pink anemones and ranunculus, with dark pink orchids resting on top. The bouquet was hand-tied with white satin and made by the bride’s friend Samantha Kerfoot.</p>
<p>At the reception immediately following the ceremony, guests enjoyed brunch with mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar followed by dancing to the music of the Trevor Shaw Band and croquet on the lawn of Lee Park.</p>
<p>The bride is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. She also received a Master of Science in early childhood education from the University of North Texas. She is a member of Kappa Delta sorority, the Slipper Club, and the Junior League of Dallas. She teaches pre-kindergarten in Dallas. The groom is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and a Master of Science in accounting. He is the director of accounting at Locke, Lord, Bissell &amp; Liddell in Dallas.</p>
<p>After a honeymoon in Nantucket and Cape Cod, the couple will reside in University Park.</p>

<p>Margaret Harriet Munson and Joseph Patrick McGonigle, both of Dallas, were married April 10 at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla. The Rev. James Bradley Bowden, former pastor of Waples United Methodist Church of Denison, Texas, officiated. A reception and seated dinner followed the ceremony at Mar-a-Lago, the historic home of the late Marjorie Merriweather Post.</p>
<p>The bride chose a custom-designed, signed gown by couture bridal gown designer Anne Barge. The light ivory silk, strapless, shaped bodice was adorned with tiny pleats at the neckline, with alternating bands of vertical pin tuck stitching and very intricate pearl and crystal beadwork covering the gown from the neckline to the knee. The skirt was a beautiful cloud of silk that gently flowed to a bubble hem surrounding the bride and extended to the chapel-length train. To complete her ensemble, the bride wore a chapel-length mantilla veil that was encrusted with hand-beaded pearls, silver lace, and crystals along the entire edge in an intricate, wide band pattern. She carried an antique, inlaid mother-of-pearl Bible which had belonged to her grandmother, Harriet Weber.</p>
<p>The bride is the daughter of former state representative and mayor of Denison, William Benjamin Munson IV, and his wife, Susie Weber Munson. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bennet Ross Weber of Highland Park, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Benjamin Munson III of Denison. She is the great- granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Olmsted of Highland Park.</p>
<p>The groom is the son of Ms. Marianne Nadler McGonigle and Mr. Joseph Oliver McGonigle of Dallas. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gustav Nadler of Colonia, N.J., and the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Joseph McGonigle of South Amboy, N.J.</p>
<p>The matrons of honor were the bride’s sisters, Merry Munson Wyatt of Dallas and Kathryn Munson Beach of New York City. Bridesmaids were Allison Hazlewood Olson, Jordan Lankford Freytag, Kylie George Calvert, Holly Stephens Brown, and Kathryn Field Atherton, all of Austin; Ina Kuehnhoefer-Riley of New Canaan, Conn.; Lauren Roemer Morgan of Houston; Dr. Jessica Tucker Pierce of Seattle; and Lindsay Selke Akhtar, Ashley Holder Ohrt, and Brook Michelle McGonigle, all of Dallas.</p>
<p>The groom’s best man was his brother, Edward Oliver McGonigle of Dallas. Groomsmen were Adam L. Blumenfeld, Christopher Inslee Clark, Richard Martin Ellman, Philip Llewellen Kelton III, Marc Anthony Marrocco, Michael Lawrence Baum, Saul Marvin Meyer, and Brady Thomas Wyatt III, all of Dallas; Gentry Thomas Beach of New York City; Max Alan Kleinman of Seattle; and Matthew Michael Keys of Boston.</p>
<p>The bride attended the Hockaday School and is a graduate of Denison High School. She received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a member and social vice president of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She was an Idlewild debutante and a Waco Cotton Palace duchess. She is a member of the Junior League of Dallas, the Hockaday School Alumnae Board, the Junior Group of the Dallas Garden Club, and Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club. She is employed by Crow Holdings.</p>
<p>The groom is a graduate of the Greenhill School. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, Calif., and a Masters of Business Administration from the Cox School of Business at SMU. He is chairman of the Avante-Garde Society of the Nasher Sculpture Center. He is a partner with South Bay Partners.</p>
<p>After a honeymoon in Turks and Caicos, London, Monte Carlo, and the Amalfi Coast, the couple will reside in Dallas.</p>

<p>Julie Lancaster and Grinnell Morris III exchanged wedding vows March 13, 2010, at the Tides in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. The ceremony was officiated by Jan Pfeiffer. A reception of dining and dancing followed.</p>
<p>The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Olin Lancaster Jr. of Highland Park. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Rhodus, of Dallas and the late Mr. and Mrs. Olin Lancaster, also of Dallas.</p>
<p>The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Grinnell (Peter) Morris Jr., of Chapel Hill, N.C., formerly of Stamford, Conn. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Grinnell Morris, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Oyster Bay, N.Y., and Mr. Charles O’Brotka and the late Mrs. Charles (Florence) O’Brotka, of Yonkers, N.Y.</p>
<p>The bride chose a silk charmeuse sheath gown with a deep, draped neckline and a sweeping train. Her veil was fingertip tulle, sprinkled with rhinestones.</p>
<p>The bride was escorted to the ceremony by her father. Attending as flower girls were the groom’s nieces, Ellie and Bea Wadsworth. The bride’s brothers, George and Olin Lancaster III, served as ushers. The ring bearers were Christopher and Olin Lancaster IV, nephews of the bride.</p>
<p>The bride is a graduate of Highland Park High School and received her Bachelor of Arts in museum studies from Baylor University. After receiving an associate degree in acting from K-D Studio in Dallas, she went on to New York City and completed two years at Circle in the Square’s Professional Workshop. The bride, a former Idlewild debutante, is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and is also a member of Theatre 40 Company, of Beverly Hills, Calif. She is a stage, film, and television actress.</p>
<p>The groom is a graduate of St. Paul’s School and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in pre-med from Dartmouth College. While at Dartmouth, the groom was a member of Alpha Chi Alpha fraternity and was selected for the heavyweight crew team. The groom was also a member of Theatre 40 Company, of Beverly Hills, Calif. He is also an actor on stage, film, and television.</p>
<p>Following the wedding trip to Zihuatanejo, Mexico, the couple resides in Studio City, Calif.</p>

<p>The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson and the late Mrs. Mary Alice Fitzpatrick of San Antonio. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Williams of Victoria, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Andy Anderson of Oakland, Neb.</p>
<p>The bride wore a silk gown by Pnina Tornai for Kleinfeld Bridal, along with a hand-crafted Swarovski crystal belt.</p>
<p>The bride was given in marriage by her father. Attending as maid of honor was Anna Anderson, daughter of Michael Anderson. His sons, Hayden and Connor Anderson, served as groomsmen.</p>

<p>The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Jay Cohen of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Brown Furst II of East Hampton, N.Y., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Cohen of Corpus Christi.</p>
<p>The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Vaughn Lindsey of Dallas. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Eural Clint Wiley of Decatur, Texas, and Mrs. Elbridge Gary Lindsey of Magnolia, Ark., and the late Mr. Lindsey.</p>
<p>Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant custom gown of the finest satin faced silk chiffon that was hand tufted “Angel Hair” by the New York designer Reem Acra. A cage veil completed the contemporary look of a timeless creation. The bride’s jewelry included family heirlooms and a diamond necklace worn as a hairpiece, which was loaned by her cousin. Blair carried a handkerchief used by many generations of brides in her family. She held a bouquet of enchanting antique green, purple-tipped hydrangeas.</p>
<p>Meagan Roberts Land, of Corpus Christi, served as maid of honor. Sisters of the groom Audrey Elizabeth Lindsey, Ellen Claire Lindsey, and Mary Catherine Lindsey joined Elizabeth Ball Jones and Lacy Hix Green as bridesmaids. They wore individually styled navy Amsala gowns and carried baby’s breath bouquets.</p>
<p>House party members included Katie Cook Romano of Washington, D.C.; Lauren Lipscomb Inman and Beverley Lorraine Holland of Dallas; Haley Pletcher Bennett of Corpus Christi; and Sarah Armstrong Jones of Hebbronville, Texas.</p>
<p>Bradley William Roberts of Dallas served as best man. Groomsmen included Grant Tyler Brodeur, John Trey Jones, and Bradford Clay Petty of Dallas; Tyler Babson Anderson of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; and William Scott Pyle of Tulsa, Okla.</p>
<p>Ushers were Patrick Maury McCown and Colton Wayne Sanders of Austin; George Frederick Baker and William Alexander Inman of Dallas; and cousins of the bride Cullen Francis Goodman of Corpus Christi and Harvey Charles Weil Jr. of San Antonio.</p>
<p>The bride is a graduate of W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi. She attended SMU and will graduate from the University of Arkansas.</p>

<p>The bride chose a magnificent gown by Vera Wang. The strapless gown was made with French Alençon lace on layers of organdy, which gave it a three dimensional aspect. The gown flowed into a chapel length train, that was adorned with large handmade organdy corsages. To finish her look, the bride chose a long cathedral-length veil trimmed in silk organza, and wore a silk flower with a feather in her hair.</p>
<p>The bride was given in marriage by her father. Attending as maid of honor was her sister, Melissa Jane Rogers. Bridesmaids included Anne Elizabeth Gerik Eubank, Claire Louise Fields, Claire Elizabeth Howard, Jennifer Elizabeth Karen Nevins, Caroline Lloyd Quisenberry, and Judith Lynn Sanders. The house party included Morgan Dall Dewan (reader), Jennifer Dennet Welch, Heidi Lauren Hood, and Ellen Miers Peeples. Serving the groom as best man was Robert Matthew Innamorati. Groomsmen included David Cosby Clarke, Jonathan Moe Pearce, William Holland Peeples, Bryan Noelting Quisenberry, Richard Baird Quisenberry, Blake Sundberg Smith, and John Machir Stull.</p>
