DSOL Announces Honorary Chairs for 33rd Annual Presentation Ball

Longtime Dallas Symphony Orchestra League supporters Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller will serve as honorary chairs for the DSOL 33rd annual Presentation Ball.

Ann and Gabriel have established The Samurai Collection, one of the most complete and largest arrays of samurai armor in the world displayed in the only museum outside of Japan. The Samurai Collection is one of the few museums in Dallas that is free and open to the public for the Dallas community and its families to enjoy.

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra League 33rd Annual Presentation Ball which will be held Feb. 9, 2019 at the Meyerson Symphony Center.

Dallas-born Ann Barbier-Mueller Swiss-born Gabriel Barbier-Mueller have three grown children, Alexis, Niña, and Oliver. Daughter Niña is a former debutante and sons Alexis and Oliver served in the Honor Guard.

Ann has been involved in a multitude of community organizations, including serving as the past Ball Chair of the Dallas Museum of Art, past Luncheon Chair of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, past Luncheon Chair of the National Kidney Foundation and past Luncheon Chair of Family Gateway. She is currently on the Board of TACA, and the Board of Baylor Health Care System Foundation.

Gabriel is the founder and CEO of Harwood International. Mr. Barbier-Mueller’s signature development is the award-winning District of Harwood in Uptown Dallas as well as his growing portfolio of properties and development projects in London, Beverly Hills, Zurich, Geneva, and Paris.

Gabriel is a member of the International Council of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and is the Legacy Chairman of the Business Council for the Arts. He also serves as Honorary Consul of Switzerland for North Texas and is serving on the board of SMU’s Cox School of Business.
