Police Report: Feb. 15-20

SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: NO LEARNERS PERMITTED

At 8:19 a.m. on Feb. 20, a silver 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer being operated by a supervised minor with a learners permit knocked over a stop sign in the 4200 block of Turtle Creek Boulevard.

UNIVERSITY PARK

15 MONDAY
At 11 p.m. a resident of the 3100 block of Hanover Street reported that a thief entered a blue 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and stole the third-row seat and a $1,000 pair of Ping golf clubs between 1 and 3 p.m. on Feb. 14.

17 WEDNESDAY
Between 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 16 and 7 a.m. on Feb. 17, a thief entered a black 2009 GMC Yukon XL in the 2800 block of Milton Avenue and stole a $300 briefcase and a $2,500 laptop.

Between 5:52 and 6:45 p.m., a thief entered a building under construction in the 3400 block of Amherst Street and stole $13,005 in household goods, and a $20,000 Thermador kitchen appliance.

Between 4:05 and 4:15 p.m., a thief stole a $600 Cannondale men’s bicycle from Snider Plaza.

18 THURSDAY
At 2:15 p.m., a minor was arrested at Highland Park High School on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Between 8 p.m. on Feb. 17 and 7 a.m. on Feb. 18, a thief stole a tailgate, valued at $4,000, from a white 2014 Chevrolet truck from the 3400 block of Marquette Street.

19 FRIDAY
Between 9 and 9:40 a.m., a thief stole credit cards from a backpack at Highland Park High School.

Between 9 and 11 a.m., a vandal caused $700 in damage to a tan 2002 Chevrolet Yukon in the 2700 block of Amherst Street.

20 SATURDAY
Between 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 19 and 1:30 a.m. on Feb. 20, a thief entered a vehicle in the 4000 block of Windsor Avenue and stole $100 in miscellaneous property, three racquets valued at $200, $250 in cash, a $300 bodega wallet, a $300 briefcase, and a $2,000 Apple MacBook.
