The Dallas Institute’s Ben Franklin Circle

September 15 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

$25 - $35

The Dallas Institute invites you to explore and analyze Benjamin Franklin’s virtues in relation to today’s culture.

Launched by the 92nd Street Y in NYC, Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, and Citizen University in Seattle, the national initiative pays tribute to Franklin’s ideology seen in his “self-improvement club,” founded in 1727.

Through the club, he devised a list of thirteen virtues he deemed worthy of serious time and effort within the group: temperance, silence, order, resolution, frugality, industry, sincerity, justice, moderation, cleanliness, tranquility, chastity, and humility.

September 15 and November 10, 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.

$35 per session – General

$25 per session – Members
