Highland Park swimmers have plenty to smile about after winning another meet in Frisco last week. They’ll compete at TISCA this weekend.

The Highland Park boys defeated both Frisco and Frisco Liberty in a tri-meet on Nov. 29, led by strong individual performances by Robby King and Felix Van Cauwelaert.

King took first place in the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly, while Van Cauwelaert won the 100 backstroke and 200 individual medley. Henry Wang claimed gold in the 100 breaststroke.

On the girls side, HP topped Liberty but fell to Frisco. Malak Hmimy won the 100 breaststroke and Morgan Rehme took the 100 freestyle for the Blue Wave.

For HP, the meet was a tuneup for the North Texas 5A TISCA Invitational meet this weekend, which also will be in Frisco.
