First Place, Not Last, For These Mohicans
The Mohicans, a group of first- and second-graders from all four Highland Park ISD elementary schools, won their division of the Texas Draw lacrosse tournament on June 6-7 in Plano.
The team went 5-0 in the tournament, out-scoring its competition by a combined 28-4. The players compete for Highland Park Lacrosse in the fall and spring, and formed this team for play during the summer.
The squad includes Parker Addison, Sawyer Anderson, Cayden Bartusek, Lennox Bird, Ben Boyer, Thomas Cook, Will Fagan, Wiley Lent, Brandon Lilly, Luke Mauser, Jacob Meaney, Wyatt Miller, Colin Noble, Jack Provost, Clifton Smartt, Sutton Smith, Angus Wall, and Carson Wiles.
