With its District 10-6A title already clinched and its playoff seed already secure, Highland Park still has a small piece of business to take care of tonight against Richardson.

When the Scots host the Eagles in their regular-season finale, they will try to extend their 20-game winning streak and complete a perfect run through the league schedule in their final year at the 6A level.

Thus far, the Scots (24-5, 13-0) have outscored their district foes by a combined margin of 74-12, and haven’t allowed more than two runs in a game during that stretch behind the pitching of William Adair, Sawyer Lake, and Grant Howell.

Looking ahead to postseason play, HP is likely to meet Irving MacArthur in the Region II bi-district round next week.
