Highland Park has secured the fourth playoff seed from District 15-5A, but the Lady Scots will need to wait to learn the identity of their bi-district opponent.

HP will meet the top seed from District 16-5A. Sulphur Springs and Texarkana Texas High shared first place during the regular season, and will hold a tiebreaker game on Friday, with the winner facing the Lady Scots on Monday at a time and site to be determined.

The Lady Scots (14-17, 8-6) wrapped up the regular season with a 63-35 road loss to 15-5A champion Wylie East on Tuesday. Ella Patterson scored a team-high 12 points for HP.

On Feb. 2, the team closed out its home schedule with a dominating 77-49 victory over Royse City, with Cassidy Yancey scoring 19 points and Ashley Turner adding 16.
