Highland Park’s perfect run through District 15-5A is over. On Tuesday, the Lady Scots fell in four tough sets to Lovejoy, last year’s Class 5A state runner-up.

HP swept the Lady Leopards in the first meeting on Sept. 16, but couldn’t duplicate the feat. Since both teams have dominated the remainder of the opposition in 15-5A, that sets up a likely tie for the district title.

But first, four regular-season matches remain for the Lady Scots, three of which will be at home. HP will host Mesquite Poteet on Friday and North Forney on Oct. 18.
