Highland Park breezed through its first postseason hurdle on Tuesday with a sweep of Skyline in a Class 6A Region II bi-district match, 25-6, 25-10, 25-11, at Ellis Davis Field House.

The Lady Scots — who earned their 40th win of the season during a warm-up match on Saturday in Aledo — dominated the Lady Raiders (11-20), who finished in fourth place in District 9-6A during the regular season.

The challenges will get tougher for HP (41-6) beginning with an area-round matchup against Rockwall, scheduled for Thursday in Allen. The Lady Jackets (26-12), runners-up in District 11-6A, swept Belton on Monday to advance.
