Let’s ignore the fact that Highland Park has only won two games this season against teams not called HSAA, and focus on the fact that the Scots have beaten the squad of homeschool players three times already this season.

The latest such victory came on Monday, when HP used a season-best offensive output to cruise to an 85-57 triumph. The balanced scoring included 20 points from Will Enzor, along with 16 from Ethan Nussbaum. Three other Scots contributed at least nine points — Preston Landes, Davis Milton, and Alex Staffaroni.

The Scots (5-3) will take their modest two-game winning streak to the Union Square Bulldog Classic beginning Thursday in Burkburnett. HP, which won the tournament last season, will face Whitehouse, Brock, and Canyon Randall in pool play.
