Rockfish to Host ‘Lemons to Aid’ Stands

Back in July, we brought you the story of Lemons to Aid, an initiative founded by Preston Hollow resident Melissa Plaskoff. The basic gist is that kids operate lemonade stands and donate their proceeds to disaster relief efforts and other charities.

Well, Rockfish Seafood Grill is getting in on this deal in a big way. From 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, there will be Lemons to Aid stands outside all 15 of the Richardson-based chain’s restaurants. (Plaskoff will be at the one in Preston Forest Village.) One hundred percent of the lemonade proceeds will go to the Greater New Orleans Foundation, as will 10 percent of Rockfish’s profits tomorrow.

Can’t make it out tomorrow? Not to worry. Make a donation to the foundation at any Rockfish through Sunday, and you’ll get a free lemonade.
