Help Turtle Creek

For runners and bikers, and their less-athletically-inclined brethren “The Walkers” (myself included), Turtle Creek is an oasis in a city full of Denalis and barbecue smoke.

(Yes that’s a gross generalization, but hey, it’s for a good cause.)

For those inclined to help Turtle Creek stay beautiful, head over to the Turtle Creek Association, who just launched its first annual “Friends of Turtle Creek” campaign. Their goal is to raise $100,000, to, you guessed it, keep Turtle Creek beautiful.

So, if you spend your Saturday or Sunday mornings strolling along the creek looking for those ever-elusive turtles, drop a few coins in the bucket.

    Great article! Thanks.

Could you keep and publish a running total, from time-to-time, so readers can see how the campaign is going?

Turtle Creek is not only one of our most beautiful and relaxing community assets, but it’s a major historical site for the Park Cities.
