Language of a Broken Heart Premieres

In addition to my daily duties at Park Cities People, I’ve also been (occasionally) tasked with reviewing movies for D Magazine’s FrontRow blog.

Last night I caught Language of a Broken Heart, produced by 1998 Highland Park HS grad Luke Coffee. You can check out my review here, but the big pull for PCP readers is that the film was shot in and around the Park Cities.

I caught scenes at/on:

– Toulouse on Knox Street

– Goar Park

-Southwestern Boulevard

The audience was packed to the gills with rabid Park Cities fans; what sites did I miss? Was anyone else at the screening?

Not at the screening, but seen it, and it is entertaining. The british accent guy is also an HP Grad from class of 2000; Michael Ails. Random fact of the day; Michael has been the stand in for Robert Pattinson for the filming of the last two Twilight movies.

Can we give props to director Rocky Powell who was a co producer and directed the flick? He’s a UP resident!
