Take Me to The Movies, Christy

Christy Lemire and Ignatiy Vishnevetsky on the "At The Movies" set

I have a confession to make: I have a crush on Christy Lemire.

Who is Christy Lemire, you ask? She is the movie critic for the Associated Press and a co-host of the latest iteration of Ebert Presents At The Movies. Why am I mentioning this on the Park Cities People blog, you ask? Because my not-stalking-I-swear research shows that she is an SMU graduate. In fact, she got her start with the AP as a general assignments reporter in the Dallas bureau.

From what I can tell from her television appearances, Christy is intelligent, charming, and gorgeous. Of course, most people would seem ideal when paired with Ignatiy Vishnevetsky, who provides me with loads of irritainment with his recommendations of great examples of Romanian New Wave cinema. (Not making that up)

By the way, my wife is fine with all of this. At least, she better be, since I have to endure her gushing over Tyson Chandler during every Mavericks playoff game.
