Seeking Lost Glasses (5 Pair; Hillcrest near Centenary)

I lost 5 pairs of “home try-on” glasses this morning. I turned north onto Hillcrest from the alley near Centenary. I realized that I had left the box on top of my car when I was turning onto 75. I found a piece of paper that they came with in the mail, in a puddle on Hillcrest, so I can infer that the glasses fell off there and not Northwest Highway.

Warby Parker, the company I had them loaned from, wants to charge me full price for them, and I am only a college student and would be in big trouble if I do not find these. I guess someone has found them already because there are no broken pieces or other remnants in the street.

This would have been sometime after 8:30 a.m. and before 10:00 a.m.

Thank you,

Spencer Mullins

It’s too late this time, but this incident is why I NEVER put anything on the roof of my car. An easy alternative, if you have to free a hand to open the door, is to put the item on the hood. Then when you sit down to drive away, you are looking right at the item.
