Homecoming Invite Gets Top Billing

If you’re wondering how a homecoming invitation ended up on the marquee of the Highland Park Village Theatre, wonder no more. According to HPHS mom Lindsey Miller, it’s a big deal for boys at the high school to ask girls to homecoming in a creative manner. When she sought suggestions on her son Garrett’s behalf via Facebook, Brian Twomey of the Marquee Grill & Bar offered up the namesake of his restaurant. The message was displayed yesterday afternoon, when Garrett drove by with his girlfriend, Jordan Guehlstorf.

Since Jordan posed with Garrett, Twomey and business partner Mark Hearl, we'll assume she said yes.

so an HP kid is so pampered that mom essentially asks the girl to homecoming for him (she sought ideas on FB and accepted the offer)? wow. this tops the HP mom who calls her college freshman son every morning to wake him up for class. move aside and let the kids grow up. Would I be more embarassed as a HS kid that 1) my mom is on facebook or 2) that she was seeking advice on there about how I could be creative and get a date? tough one

SDM and Seriously?, I hope you feel super cool putting this 16 year old kid down… its funny that his great-grandfather owned the shopping center for 40 years and his grandfather was one of the presidents of Henry S Miller Interests, bringing in Chanel, Escada, St. John, Jimmy Choo, Harry Winston, Beretta, and others to Dallas, expanding the international perspective of Dallas by many in the retail industry…. funny. Have fun as a forty year old nothing putting down a kid who hasn’t graduated high school… you are so jealous and pathetic that i feel so sorry for you that i feel bad posting this comment…. but you just suck at life.
