And Haircut of The Year Goes to…

Dan already touched upon the negatives from with Saturday’s parade (though I’d like to add a shout-out to the fire ants that climbed into my backpack and down my shirt and shorts), but one unmitigated success was the haircut we see above.

Found near the intersection of Greenville and SMU, this young man tosses convention to the side and goes with a haircut admired equally by the ladies and the theories of aerodynamics. Well played, sir.

Um, see the big scar on the kid’s scalp? Could that possibly explain the haircut?

Eric- I considered that, but any possible surgery doesn’t preclude the option to trim that baleen off his neck.

It is an unusual style. If it’s about an injury, the decision not to just cut all is curious. But as my mother-in-law says, “It’s just hair.” Meaning, there are bigger fish to fry. Still, I’m pleased my boys have not requested this style of our favorite barber, Travis, at Mustang Barbers. (Shameless plug, forgive me.)

What a fabulous and modern take on the always classic mullet!

P.S. – Am I the only one that still has a problem not referring to that street as Yale?

I thought that was one of our freshly shorn freshman football players. I’ve seen worse than that.
