SMU Hosts Trayvon Martin Rallies, Vigils

SMU students will host a series of rallies, vigils, and marches on campus today in remembrance of Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old Florida teen gunned down in Sanford, Fla. last month.

The events include (according to the coordinating group’s Facebook page):

-An ALL DAY hoodie rally
-Remembrance and solidarity gathering at the flagpole at 1 PM
-Silent Hooded march started at the flagpole at 5 PM
-SMU BLSA will be hosting a Candle light vigil at 9:15 PM

According to the page, 180 students have already RSVPed.

    Will it still be considered “justice” (should a trial ensue) and Zimmerman is found not guilty? I found this on the google.com news.
