Area Playoffs On Tap Tonight For Scots
Both Highland Park soccer teams will be back in postseason action tonight with area-round match-ups.
The Lady Scots (21-1-2) will face McKinney North (15-5-1) at 6 p.m. at Wylie ISD Stadium. Highland Park beat Paris, 10-0, in the first round on Friday, while the Lady Bulldogs blanked Frisco, 3-0. The winner will take on the Frisco Wakeland-Pearce winner in sectionals later this week.
The Scots (11-7-6) will battle Frisco Heritage (21-4-1) at 7:30 p.m. at McKinney Boyd. Highland Park beat Sulphur Springs, 3-1, in overtime, in the first round, while Heritage beat Prosper, 6-0. The winner will battle the Carrollton Creekview-Frisco Liberty winner in sectionals later this week.
