Jesuit, Thomas Jefferson Soccer Teams Rolling

The Jesuit soccer team will be back in action when it battles McKinney Boyd (18-3-4) in a Class 5A regional quarterfinal at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Plano’s Clark Stadium.

The Rangers (20-2-0) beat Belton, 2-1, on Friday to advance. The winner will play the Round Rock McNeil-The Woodlands winner in the regional semifinals in Round Rock on Friday.

Thomas Jefferson (18-4-3) is also still alive in the playoffs. The Patriots will face Highland Park (13-7-6) at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Midlothian in a Class 4A regional quarterfinal. The winner of that game will play the Red Oak-Kilgore winner in the regional semis at Carrollton’s Standridge Stadium on Friday.
