Massive Tree Shuts Down Preston Last Night
Got this in an email from a resident last night:
This is a terrible quality picture, but this massive tree fell at almost the exact moment that I was driving past it southbound on Preston at Livingston at 9:55 pm. As I was turning right onto Livingston, I had my windows rolled down and immediately heard splitting wood cracking loudly followed by a massive crash as it hit the asphalt. There was a guy driving northbound who had to slam his brakes on to avoid getting hit. You can’t tell from the picture, but the tree is completely blocking both northbound lanes. The other guy was shaken up, but he and his car were fine. Scary stuff.
Anyone else see anything?
