Tomorrow, I’ll head over to Preston Center Dance to meet with co-owner Densil Adams and see the studio’s new/expanded/renovated/somewhat relocated digs. It’ll occupy space on both Sherry and Luther lanes, as I understand, and maintain its headquarters on Luther. A grand opening is slated for Aug. 13.
His business has been around for 23 now, Adams says, with many a student hailing from the Park Cities.
So — with that in mind — what you do think of the place and its expansion? And do you have any memories (and/or poofy-hair photos) you can share from the late ’80s/early ’90s? I’ll do my best to get them in the paper.
