Jesuit quarterback Jack Brezette had himself quite a first quarter during the Rangers’ 53-0 thumping of Houston Strake Jesuit on Friday night in Houston.

Brezette threw five touchdowns passes in the first quarter alone. Three of those touchdowns were to Jake Oliver, a University of Texas commit. The other two went to John Berend for his only two catches of the night.

Brezette finished 12-of-18 for 175 yards. For the season, he has thrown for 848 yards with 12 touchdowns and five interceptions.

The Rangers (3-0) are off this week. Jesuit opens District 9-5A play with a home showdown against Skyline on Sept. 28.
