North Forney Game Moved Up One Day

Highland Park’s varsity football game at North Forney originally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 5, has been moved up to Thursday, Oct. 4. The game will still be played at Forney’s City Bank Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

There was a scheduling conflict that had both Forney teams playing at home that Friday night.

The Scots were already scheduled to play at Mesquite Poteet on the following Thursday, so they will now have consecutive Thursday night road games.

After a bye last week, Highland Park (2-1) will play host to Forney to open District 10-4A play at 7:30 p.m. Friday. It is also homecoming for the Scots.

Was it just moved up? We’ve had it on our schedule as a Thursday game since the beginning of the season! Go Cole!

I think they caught it right before the season started, but it was on Friday night on the original schedule.
