Jesuit Alum Headed to BCS Championship
For the second straight season, a former Jesuit kicker will have a shot to win a Bowl Championship Series national football championship.
Senior Nick Tausch will wrap up his career at Notre Dame in the title game on Jan. 7 in Miami against either Alabama or Georgia. The Fighting Irish wrapped up an undefeated regular season with a 22-13 win at Southern California on Saturday.
Last season, James Hairston and his LSU teammates fell to Alabama, 21-0, in the BCS championship.
