Investigation Continues After HPHS Bomb Threats

Local police are still on the hunt for the person (or people, perhaps) who left three bomb-threat notes at Highland Park High School last week, but HPISD spokeswoman Helen Williams tells me everything is back to normal on campus.

University Park Police could ultimately get help from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, says Capt. Leon Holman, referencing comments Chief Gary Adams made on Friday, but that “just depends on what we’re able to find out in our investigation.”

Stay tuned. We’ll have a few more details in this week’s paper.
