Our friends at Highland Park Village asked us to point out that the luxurious shopping center is the perfect place to celebrate this afternoon/evening after the Scots defeat Mansfield Legacy. (Optimism!) Here’s the schedule:

2 p.m. —  Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive via Three Jays Carriage and escorted by Highland Park police. They will be set up in front of Rag + Bone and will be available for sit-downs, photos, and story time until 5.

2:30 p.m. — Face painters and a balloon clown will set up in Center Court and hang around until 5.

3 p.m. — The Dallas Youth Repertory Project will perform on stage between Tom Thumb and the former Calame space. A second performance is scheduled for 4:30.

5 p.m. — Guests should move toward the Christmas tree and Santa set-up in front of Rag + Bone, where they can enjoy hot chocolate and cookies.

5:15 p.m. — Stephen and Elisa Summers and their children will light the tree.

Sounds like a grand time.
