Highland Park will meet Wylie in the Class 4A Division I Region II final next week after the Pirates outlasted South Oak Cliff 64-46 on Friday in Allen.

The game will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday (Dec. 6) at Dragon Stadium in Southlake.

The Scots (12-1) will carry a 12-game winning streak into the contest after shutting out Mansfield Legacy 48-0 earlier Friday in Arlington. The Pirates (9-4) have won five straight games after starting the season 4-4.

Discounted tickets are available in advance at the Highlander Stadium box office this week. The ticket office will be open from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Advance tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. All tickets will be $10 at the gate, and parking will be $3.

It will be the first matchup between the two teams since they were district foes in 2010-11. HP won both of those meetings by identical 24-21 scores. The two schools have never met in the playoffs.
