A few minutes later, at the intersection of Lomo Alto Drive and Westway Avenue, an officer began pursuing a blue Toyota Camry with several tires in its backseat. The man got out of the Tahoe and discovered that someone had removed the lugnuts from all four wheels and discarded them in some nearby grass.

At 11:22 a.m., a man was sitting in his silver 2004 Mazda hatchback on the third floor of a NorthPark Center parking garage when a gunman approached him, put a pistol to his shoulder, and said, “What valuables do you have?” The man replied that he had Christmas gifts, his wallet, and his phone. The robber demanded the wallet, and the man handed over the $125 Coach accessory that held $250 in cash and two credit cards. The robber then asked where the man’s gifts were, and the man said they were in the back. The robber took the man’s $500 iPhone, opened the rear door, and removed a $300 Eagle Creek suitcase that held a $400 PlayStation 4, two Polo sweaters with a total value of $110, a $100 Michael Kors wallet, five DVDs with a total value of $90, two shirts with a total value of $75, a $20 scarf, and a $20 blouse. When he got out of the Mazda 15 minutes later, he found his phone on the ground and dialed 911.

At 1:30 p.m., a man got into an argument with another man and a woman at NorthPark Center. The woman punched him in the face, and then the man put a small gun to his face and said, “You better not.” The couple fled the mall in a red 2013 Chevy Camaro.
