OU’s Woods Owns Up to Pasta Problem

The University of Oklahoma football program reported to the NCAA that three players ate too much pasta at a banquet last May. To be eligible for the 2013 season, each player had to donate $3.83 (the value of an extra portion) to a charity of his choice. OU didn’t identify the players, but Austin Woods — son of Highland Park High School assistant football coach Don Woods and older brother of Scots center Clayton Woods — ‘fessed up via Twitter.
