Lakehill Pair Bound For State Tournament
Rachel Drazner of University Park and Tessa Hornbach of Highland Park will represent Lakehill Preparatory School at the TAPPS State Tennis Tournament, which will be held April 23-24 in Waco.
Drazner, a junior, and Hornbach, a senior, were part of a 10-Warrior contingent at the Class 2A District 2 tournament, which was contested April 2 at L.B. Houston Tennis Center. That was Lakehill’s largest number of competitors ever at a varsity district tennis tournament.
Drazner and Hornbach finished third in girls doubles, earning them a trip to Waco. They’ll be joined by freshmen Dunny Boch and William Skipworth, who finished fourth in boys doubles.
