Local Teams to Compete in FIRST Lego League Event
Good luck to the three local teams who are competing tomorrow at the FIRST Lego League regional championship at Parish Episcopal School!
The Dealey Dragons, from George Bannerman Dealey Montessori Vanguard, and the Jr. Narwhals and Neapolitan, from Parish Episcopal School, will use Lego Mindstorms technology to create robots to battle in timed matches.
The engineering event, sponsored by the Perot Museum and Lockheed Martin, is free and open to the public. Tomorrow’s winning team will advance to the World Festival in St. Louis in April.
The day begins with Opening Ceremonies at 8:30 a.m. and concludes with awards at 4:30 p.m.
