HP Parents Apologize For Son’s Role in OU Frat Video

A Highland Park High School graduate was among the leaders of a racist chant by Sigma Alpha Epsilon members at the University of Oklahoma over the weekend that has since gone viral, according to media reports.

Highland Park residents Brody and Susan Pettit, the parents of 2013 HP grad Levi Pettit, have hired a spokesman and issued a statement on a specially created website as part of the fallout, apologizing for their son’s role in the incident.

The disturbing video, of course, led to the SAE chapter being terminated and two students, apparently including Jesuit grad Parker Rice, being expelled from the university by OU president David Boren. It also prompted a series of campus rallies and protests.
