PH Residents: Meet the Candidates Tonight
Those looking to be informed voters might want to stop by the Preston Royal Library auditorium at 6 p.m. tonight for a candidate forum that will include both municipal and school-board candidates.
Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings and his challenger, Marcos Ronquillo, will be there, along with hopefuls for city council places 2, 6, 10, 11, and 13 (some of them aren’t contested). They include Monica Alonzo, Adam Medrano, Paul Reyes, James White, Lee Kleinman, and Jennifer Gates.
The forum also will feature Edwin Flores and Kyle Renard, the two candidates looking to replace outgoing Dallas ISD trustee Elizabeth Jones. By the way, early voting runs from April 27 to May 5, with regular voting on May 9.
