Catholic Foundation Awards Grants

More than $877,000 was awarded to 23 schools, churches, and nonprofits at the 2015 Catholic Foundation Spring Grant Ceremony, including St. Monica’s, St. Rita’s, Cistercian, Bishop Dunne, Holy Trinity, and All Saints.

The funds are used for whatever projects the recipient needs, from replacing roofs to renovating parking lots to buying school buses and more.

“It’s an honor to support these deserving recipients who keep our community thriving,” Catholic Foundation president and CEO Matt Kramer said. “We are thankful for our generous donors who continue to trust the Foundation with their charitable goals, because they know that The Catholic Foundation is a good way to give and the impact is great.”

The Catholic Foundation distributes funds twice a year to recipients within the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, usually exceeding $5 million total in gifts per year. In the past 25 years, the Foundation has granted $94 million.
