Doctor to Speak About Diabetes at UP
Have questions about how diabetes affects dietary habits? Highland Park ISD nurses will host a free program at 3 p.m. Friday at the University Park Elementary School auditorium that might help answer them.
The guest speaker is Dr. Gregory Clark, who has had Type 1 diabetes for 33 years and also is a doctor and a researcher on the topic. He is founder of Chicago Diabetes Experts, a medical practice focused on the management of diabetes.
Clark’s presentation, which is open to the public, will be followed by a discussion with HPISD parents Lee and Jennifer Norris, who have a diabetic child.
