Edgemere to Expand Facilities
The Edgemere retirement community will address the need for senior living centers with a $36 million expansion and renovation project.
As Baby Boomers hit retirement age, the community expects a wave of new members in the next decade. To accomodate, Edgemere will add 75,000 square feet to the campus.
Additions will include a two-story performing arts center, renovated dining venues, and nearly three dozen new apartment homes and suites in assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing. An underground parking garage will be built for visitors.
Construction is expected to begin in August and conclude in early 2018.
