Landscaping Class Offers Tips on Trees

If you think the drought conditions are rough on your lawn during the summer, such weather can be equally bad for trees.

That’s why the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Dallas is coming to Highland Park Town Hall on Tuesday. Experts will give you advice on how to protect your trees, which can contribute to energy savings and water savings, and affect property values.

The free landscaping class will focus on selecting and planting trees more suitable to the North Texas climate, as well as provide information on watering, pruning, and disease prevention. It begins at 6:30 p.m., and you can RSVP here.
