Stop and Smell the Bluebonnets

Bluebonnet Tours Available thru October

Looking for a way to get the family outside during the lovely spring season? The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum has just the thing.

Bluebonnet Tours are available on Thursdays and Saturday at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. The one-mile walk through the trails shows off the Center’s collection of bluebonnets, Blackland Prairie grasses, seasonal wildflowers, and native habitats for butterflies, birds, and other creatures.

“This 15-acre urban park reflects the President and Mrs. Bush’s longstanding commitment to environmental conservation and restoration,” said the Center’s Director Alan C. Lowe.

Tours are free with the purchase of museum admission. Running a bit tight on schedule? Feel free to walk the trails yourself anytime from sunrise to sunset.
