Spend Your Afternoon With the Classics
Transport yourself back to the 18th century with free classical music concerts hosted by the Fine Arts Chamber Players. The 36th annual Basically Beethoven Festival will bring the sounds of Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin and others to the Dallas City Performance Hall every Sunday in July.
All concerts start at 2:30 p.m. with a Rising Star performance by young and gifted local artists. A feature performance by professional musicians immediately follows. Doors open at 2 p.m.
Throughout the year FACP presents free classical music programs like the monthly Bancroft Family Concert at the Dallas Museum of Art from October to May. FACP’s educational outreach programs provide music classes and performances in public schools.
