Skulduggery of the Week: Ring the Alarm

Between 7 p.m. Sept. 25 and 10 a.m. Sept. 26, a scoundrel stole a $2,800 Matthew Trent ring, a $6,120 Matthew Trent wedding band, and a $48,600 Matthew Trent engagement ring from a house in the 4300 block of Windsor Parkway.

HIGHLAND PARK

30 FRIDAY
Between 5 and 5:30 p.m., a thief stole two backpack blowers valued at $550 each from a blue 1993 Ford F25 in the 5800 block of Fairfield Avenue.

1 SATURDAY
At 7:24 p.m., Jonny Ivan Lara, 25, of Dallas, was arrested in the 5000 block of Armstrong Avenue on a charge of tampering with government records.

2 SUNDAY
At 3:47 a.m., Mark Anthony Trevino, 39, of Dallas, was arrested at Beverly Drive and Douglas Avenue on a charge of public intoxication.

Between 9 p.m. Oct. 1 and 11:30 a.m. Oct. 2, a thief stole a $150 Ryobi gas-powered blower, a $400 gray adult mountain bike, and a $700 purple kids Cannondale bicycle from the 3500 block of Princeton Avenue.

 

UNIVERSITY PARK

26 MONDAY
Between 3 p.m. Sept. 24 and 8:47 a.m. Sept. 26, a thief stole a $1,200 gate opener from a fence in the 2500 block of University Boulevard.

Between 7 p.m. Sept. 25 and 10 a.m. Sept. 26, a scoundrel stole a $2,800 Matthew Trent ring, a $6,120 Matthew Trent wedding band, and a $48,600 Matthew Trent engagement ring from a house in the 4300 block of Windsor Parkway.

29 THURSDAY
At 8:24 a.m., a thief stole a $900 chainsaw from a trailer in the 3600 block of Binkley Avenue.

At 2:40 p.m., Wells Fargo Bank in the 4300 block of Lovers Lane reported an employee stole $2,000.

30 FRIDAY
At 9:15 p.m., Terri Lynn Seaton, 48, of Fort Worth, was arrested in the 6800 block of Turtle Creek Boulevard.

1 SATURDAY
At 9:51 p.m., a burglar broke into a laptop and stole $17,410 in electronics from a black 2015 Land Rover Range Rover in the b.
